So it was a problem in the packaging of the zip files. I then repaired zip files with the “zip” command via terminal, and it rebuilt the index of the zip, which then unzipped fine. When I used the MacOS “ditto” command in the terminal, to extract, some zip unzipped just fine, others were missing files. repair an archive file that has been corrupted or truncated.
